"Shake all the delight you can out of life."

Eagle Harbor

Come up to Eagle Harbor.
Lose yourself in freedom.
Small towns have such charm.

Here is the Lake.
Feel it with your toe.
Is the water cold enough for you?

Pine trees all around rustle in the breeze.
A small wind urges you to play.
Follow it down the road.

Pop a blueberry into your mouth.
Is it sweet or sour?
Try another one.

Relax on the crescent beach.
Dive into the icy water.
Stay awhile, enjoying the rainbow sunset.

Every year I come back,
And every year I say goodbye.
But why?

Eagle Harbor is hidden away in a pocket of
Woods on Superior, waiting for you.
“Come again, my friend!”
